This work focuses on how one can take singularly ordinary organic elements and juxtapose them to make for an absurd situation. Images are good ways of telling stories, we connect to them without the barriers of language. They can communicate directly, or as in my work, leave space for ambiguity. This allows the viewer to try and make sense of the story themselves. I am heavily influenced by illustration techniques, playing with the weight of block colour and the lightness of pencil.
