ABI GILTINAN looks at the world of insomnia with her brilliantly dynamic and colourful body art.
I recently did a series of works using faces as a canvas for expression of emotions and thoughts that I experience when awake at night (the unfortunate past-time of a chronic insomniac). I’m interested in keeping the artist and the art as a whole entity, because I find it hard to understand one without the other, and the idea of wearing one’s own art is something I think people should embrace. Think how much more fun tube journeys would be.
